My Big Fat Greek BBQ!
Who wants to learn how to make delicious Greek inspired BBQ dishes with all the trimmings? My gorgeous dad Costa and I will be setting up our traditional Greek-Cypriot BBQ and teaching you how to make delicious Pork Souvlaki and slow cooked lamb Souvla. We will also make some lovely vego inspired Souvlakia as well. YUM! I will also teach you how to make some yummy side salads and dips as well.
We will finish off the meal with some delicious home made Baklava and Greek coffee.

Come and join us for a delicious Vietnamese meal, where we will learn to make (and roll!) Vietnamese spring rolls, along with a beautiful vermicelli salad with all the trimmings. We will then turn them into a delicious Bún Chả Giò - Spring Roll Vermicelli Salad Bowl.
Alissa’s first experience in the kitchen began as a small child where she was always the taster for the delicious meals her mum made. In this way she learned to prep, and cook traditional Vietnamese food. And now she wants to share this with you!

Nina Cantina is back and wants to take you on a culinary journey through Port Kembla. Nina is a passionate foodie who lives in Port and wants to share her knowledge of the best places to eat and shop in Port. We will meet for a coffee to start the day and graze our way down Wentworth St.

We will meet at Barberista Espresso and make our way down the street.

Kids cooking classes
Nina Cantina will be holding a 4 week introductory to cooking. We will cover all 4 courses, breakfast, lunch and dinner and let’s not forget dessert!
We will learn how to cook eggs a few different ways, for lunch we will make dumplings , for dinner we will be making Spaghetti and Meatballs In our final class we will be making a delicious Apple Crumble! Yum!
This class is designed for 8-12yrs old. Kids must BYO their own aprons.
Classes will be held at Port Kembla Community Centre. On the corner or Church St and Wentworth St, Port Kembla.
Classes will start on Thursday 28th July and finish on 18th August 2022. 4pm - 6pm

Online Kids Cooking Classes - Zucchini & Feta Fritters
We are going to make some delicious Feta and Zucchini fritters, Greek style of course. Full of delicious herbs and vegetables and yummy feta cheese. This class is pretty easy. Children may need help frying them up but they can also be oven baked.
This recipe can be made Gluten-free and vegan.
One ticket per household.
Dumplings From scratch! - Online cooking class
There is nothing more satisfying than making dumplings from scratch. Kneading the dough and rolling them out and filling them with your own scrumptious fillings. In this class we will make dumplings wrappers with your choice of filling. I will demonstrate a Pork and cabbage filling and a vegan option. I will also show you how to make a delicious asian style soup to accompany your dumplings.
All you need is flour and water and a rolling pin!
No experience necessary!
KIDS ONLINE COOKING CLASSES - EASY PEASY SPINACH AND CHEESE TRIANGLES
In this 1 hour class I will teach you how to make some delicious Spinach and Cheese Triangles. I will also show you how to make a cheeky Tzaziki to go along with it.
This class is for total beginners and kids. Fun for the whole family :)

BBQ and a Show! Lebanese Feast and Bellydancing by Tara Yasmin
It’s time to light up the BBQ! We are going to make a Lebanese Feast! We will be making Chicken Shawarma, Grilled Vegetable Shish Kebabs, Tabouli, and delicious Hummus all from scratch. Served with pitta bread. This one is a great class form the BBQ lovers in your life and this can also be cooked on a normal hotplate as well.
Tara Yasmin has been performing Raqs Sharqi an Egyptian style of belly dance since 2007, and travels regularly to continue her study in the art of Middle Eastern dance. She has trained widely with internationally acclaimed teachers from Australia, USA, Egypt, Singapore, Indonesia, Brazil, Russia and Spain.
DINNER AND A SHOW! SPANISH TAPAS WITH A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY SHANE MOON
Let me take you on a culinary journey to Spain. I love the flavours of Spain. I have travelled their several times and I want to share some beautiful Tapas recipes that I have learnt from my adopted family in Catalonia. We will be making a traditional Potato Tortilla, Garlic Mushrooms, Spanish Meatballs, Garlic Prawns and Patatas Bravas served with a delicious Sangria! We will then eat our feast and then the talented Shane Moon will perform for us. Olé!
Paella Online Cooking Class
One of my favourite dishes in the world is Paella of course. So versatile and easy to make with whatever you have in your pantry or fridge. I’m going to teach you how to create something out of nothing. I am encouraging you to make this dish with whatever you have in your home. You don’t even need a fancy Paella pan.
You can make any version. From plant based to seafood.

Mexican Fiesta! Online Cooking Class
Lets have some fun and make some delicious tacos! We will make some delicious smoky chicken tacos and my famous black bean tacos. I’m going to teach you how to make the tortillas from scratch!
We will also make a beautiful roasted tomato salsa and a lime crema and of course the guacamole.
This class is GF friendly and there is a vegan option.
This class is great for the whole family or just you and your Margarita :)
Spanakopita! Online Cooking Class
Learn how to make delicious Spanakopita in two different ways. We will make spinach and cheese triangles with puff pastry and make a delicious scroll with filo pastry.
This recipe has been handed down through generations and it would be a pleasure to share it with you.
It will be held via zoom. I will send you the ingredients once you book and we can cook all together :)
Okonomiyaki - Japanese Pancake with Manami Henderson
Okonomiyaki, also known as delicious Japanese cabbage pancake is a very common and famous food in western parts of Japan, particularly in Osaka and Hiroshima. We are going to prepare Osaka style Okonomiyaki, which has lots of cabbage and is super healthy and simple to prepare. You won't need to look for Japanese food trucks or restaurant after this class! Manami will talk A LOT about Japanese food and culture while we enjoy Okonomiyaki and other tasty Japanese treats. This is a meat based dish but can also be made vegetarian.
Manami Henderson is a dietitian and is originally from Tokyo, Japan. She has lived and worked in Wollongong for the past 16 years and loves the Australian lifestyle.
